My inspiration to make musical instruments came from the want of owning a harp. I had to build them myself because I couldn’t afford a buy one.
Ever since, I’ve been addicted to making music instruments…..!

In my workshop, I build two different models of harps: A 36 string harp with semitone levers, celtic style; and a 26 string medieval harp.
Both are strung with gut strings and and produce a rich sound.

The 36 string harp is made in the baroque style and is strung softer than modern harps. The body consists of seven pieces and the soundboard, neck and column are made from the solid wood of your choice.

The gothic harp follows the original from Wartburg but is not a copy. The body is traditionally made from one piece of hollowed-out wood. On this harp you can attach buzzing hooks for added terror!
Originally these buzzing hooks gave the instrument more strength while playing in groups with bagpipes and alike. These hooks touch the string softly, making a buzzing sound while playing and can be switched on and off.

Naturally, I can also repair and restore your antique harp, calculate exact string gauges for your instrument, and do all regulation and intonation jobs on single action and double action harps.
